The Marshal’s Office of Łódzkie Voivodeship has confirmed that the application for additional financing of the Academic Entrepreneurship Foundation within the framework of Operational Programme Human Capital 8.2.1 has successfully passed from a formal evaluation to the factual one.

The Mazovian Center for Implementation of EU Programmes has positively examined the protest of the Academic Entrepreneurship Foundation. The application for additional financing within the Operational Programme Human Capital 8.2.1 will go through factual evaluation once again. The Foundation is counting on additional financing because positiv examination of analogical protest by Marshal Office of Lubuskie Voivodeship has resulted in obtaining funds.

The Marshal’s Office of Świętokszyskie Voivodeship confirmed that both applications for additional financing of the Academic Entrepreneurship Foundation within the framework of Operational Programme Human Capital have succesfully passed from a formal evaluation to the factual one.

The Foundation’s Board has presented the summary of the execution of a project consisting in working out didactic materials for forty subjects within the framework of Virtual Academy of Bioinformatics, which main goal is to educate students at a level of five year master’s degree course. The education is carried out with the use of e- learning method. Although the expected project completion date is end of 2010, 75% of all subjects have already been worked out. The authors highly assess the level of other lectures and announce that they will use them in their current scientific research.

The Academic Entrepreneurship Foundation’s representatives have supported its coach, Krzysztog Świerkowski in conducting the workshops in Opole. The Foundation, in the area of this voivodeship, is executing the programme within the framework of Operational Programme Human Capital 8.2.1, which goal is to organise worksops for scientific workers who are interested in establishing and running the business activity.

The President of the Foundation’s Board- Przemysław Lis Markiewicz accepted an invitation of the University of Economics in Poznań and decided to lead classes for students- future managers of the regional development. The President of the Foundation’s Board has been invited to participate in this undertaking because he has practical knowledge in a field of executing the development policy, especially within the implementation of Operational Programme Innovative Economy.

In the Seat of the Academic Entrepreneurship Foundation was held a second implementation training, which main goal was to implement the Quality Assurance System according to ISO 9001 for the statute activity of the Foundation. Thanks to that, the Foundation will be the very first non- governmental organisation in Poland awarded with the quality certificate.

On Innovation Portal (edited by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development) there has been published an interview with the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. Michał Kleiber and the Director of Division of Technical Sciences, Prof. Władysław Włosiński.
